Thanks to all of our friends from Orange County that came out to our 100th Chevrolet Birthday Celebration yesterday!!!!! We are proud to be the Chevrolet Dealer in Orange County! DO IT IN ORANGE!!!!


Congratulations to Eric Sonnier!!!!! Eric answered our daily Chevrolet trivia question correctly. The question was- “How was the famous “Chevrolet Bowtie” emblem thought up?” Well, this one is a “History with a Mystery”. Answer- No one knows the absolute truth but there are 2 stories out there. The first story is the Chevrolet founder, William Durant saw the “bowtie” design on some wallpaper in a French hotel. The second story is, Durant saw the design in a newspaper and thought it would be a great emblem for a car. Whatever is the truth, one thing is for sure, the Chevrolet Bowtie is one of the most recognized emblems in the world today.


Congratulations to Phillip Mathews!!!!! Phillip answered our daily Chevrolet trivia question correctly. The question was- “What Chevrolet was designed by Harley Earl and started the sports car aera?” Answer- The 1953 Corvette. Stay tuned to KOGT at 7:15 in the mornings for your chance to win a 100th Anniversary Chevrolet hat or shirt!! Remember, this Thursday afternoon at 2:00 we cut the cake on the Granger Chevrolet showroom. Margeret Toal form KOGT will confirm this, but we think it will be the largest cake ever in Orange County!!!!

The question was- “What Chevrolet was famous for it’s huge fins?” Answer- The 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air.
